Fire and Explosion Risk Assessment (FERA Study) is a structured and systematic process to identify and assess risks from fire and explosion hazards.
Elixir have a expertise in carrying out these type of studies. Let us know your requirement.
F&G mapping (which may include both fire and flammable/toxic gas detection) serve as an engineering tool to optimize the placement of detectors, ensuring maximum coverage of hazardous areas while minimizing false alarms and reducing costs, acting as a key barrier against major accident escalation.
Elixir Team have carried out F&G Mapping Studies for Oman based client “Know more about this”
Elixir team involved in following projects:
- Fire Water demand calculations based on various Fire Scenarios – For OQ Oman
- Reviewing Fire Water Demand Calculation for Libyan client
Elixir team successfully completed “Fire Water network hydraulic study (both steady state and dynamic)- For Perenco UK
Radiant heat analysis for foam and firewater systems focuses on determining the necessary application rates to overcome heat-induced foam destruction (approx. 0.5–2.5 cm/min at 5–35 kW/m²). Foam acts as a reflective barrier, with 65%–75% of incoming radiation used to evaporate the water in the foam layer, allowing the blanket to survive higher heat fluxes before collapsing.
Foam destruction increases rapidly up to , after which it increases proportionally with radiation, reaching rates of 1.5–2.5 cm/min at
Elixir Team can take up these studies and provide optimum solution to our clients.
